Social Distortion - Mike Ness fala sobre o próximo disco

Mike Ness do Social Distortion recentemente fez uma entrevista para o The Weekeder, e falou sobre o processo das composições escritas para o novo álbum da banda que já esta a caminho. “Nos temos um objetivo fixo der ser mais produtivos e não deixar um intervalo muito grande entre os álbuns. Eu percebi, que nesse momento, o processo criativo não tem que acabar quando um disco termina… Você normalmente se fecha no modo tour, e nesse momento eu meio que deixo as portas abertas, e os resultados, eu ainda estou escrevendo e sentindo a criatividade fluir, então nos temos um ótimo começo para um novo álbum. Nos vamos chocar a todos, eu acho.”

H2O GO! - I Wanna Live (The Ramones Cover)

"There wouldn't be H2O,or this covers album, if it wasn't for the Ramones. I was lucky enough to see them a bunch of times growing up, and then saying hello to Joey in passing down the streets of NYC. The Ramones influenced so many people worldwide and still do today," vocalist Toby Morse told Noisecreep about the beloved punk pioneers from Queens.

"Não haveria H2O, ou estas capas de álbuns, se não fosse os Ramones. Eu tive sorte o suficiente para vê-los um monte de vezes, e depois dizer Olá a Joey de passagem pelas ruas de NYC. Os Ramones influenciou tantas pessoas em todo o mundo e ainda até hoje", disse o vocalista Toby Morse para Noisecreep sobre os pioneiros do punk amado do Queens.

principalmente a faixa "Travis Bickle" e você sempre perguntou "quem é esse tal de Travis Bickle ?!"

Taxi Driver é um filme de 1976,dirigido por Martin Scorsese,
É amplamente considerado um dos maiores filmes americanos, aclamado por sua performance forte e realismo gritante.

Em Nova York, Travis Bickle (Robert De Niro) um homem de 26 anos, veterano da Guerra do Vietnã, é um solitário no meio da grande metrópole que ele vagueia noite adentro. Assim começa a trabalhar como motorista de taxi no turno da noite e nele vai crescendo um sentimento de revolta pela miséria, o vício, a violência e a prostituição que estão sempre à sua volta. Perde bastante noção das coisas quando leva uma bela mulher (Cybill Sheperd), que trabalha na campanha de um senador, para ver um filme pornô logo no primeiro encontro, mas tem momentos de altruísmo ao tentar persuadir uma prostituta de 12 anos (Jodie Foster) para ela largar seu cafetão, voltar para a casa de seus pais e ir para a escola. Porém, em contra-partida, compra quatro armas, sendo uma delas um Magnum 44, e articula um atentado contra o senador (que planeja ser presidente) e para quem sua amiga trabalha.

Rancid - Grava novo disco em setembro e sai em turnê mundial em 2012.

"We are really excited about doing a small run of shows later this
summer with our friends Blink 182, August 25 through Sept 4th, and
immediately after those shows Rancid will be headlining 4 shows on the
West Coast. Rancid has been taking an extended break for the last 18
months, and we thought that these shows would help us to get our chops
up before going into the studio with Brett Gurewitz to record our
eighth album in September. It's always good for us to go out and play
some shows, just to get us ready before going into the studio, and
that helps bring that live energy to tape.
We'll keep everyone posted with any new developments. 2012 will be a
big year for us, because it's our 20th Anniversary, so we're
definitely going to do our own tour all over the world."

Em atualização via Facebook, o H2O avisou que já gravou 20 covers para seu álbum de versões chamado “Know Your Roots". O álbum ainda não tem data de lançamento nem tracklisting confirmada, mas a banda já revelou que entre as bandas escolhidas para serem regravadas estão The Ramones,Social Distortion,Rancid,The Clash,Descendents,Dag Nasty,Verbal Assault,Madball,Gorilla Biscuits,Suicidal Tendencies,Minor Threat,U2,Circle Jerks,The Mighty Mighty Bosstones,Warzone,De La Soul e A Tribe Called Quest.
